I truly do not believe we need a goalie. Skinners is good. Lets say he gets injured. We have a Jack Campbell who is eager to regain his NHL career. So Goaltending I am comfortable with. And as a fan since 1984, we won our fist cup with our own developed combo. So why do any Oilers fans think we need someone developed by another team? This is from the 1990"s to 00s mentality. Cujo, Salo, Roloson. NO! We have our own developed players. Fuhr and Moog!

Don't be surprised if they stand pat. They keep stating that they are happy with their players. And that includes Brown who is being outscored by almost everyone in the league and that includes 2 goalies.

All I ask is not another horrible plus minus player. Please God! Oilers coaches love their horrible plus minus acquisitions like Kane. Kane is -52. And apparently he is a problem in the change room also.

Who is really, really untouchable when it comes to being traded? 97, 29, Hyman, Bouchard, and Ekholm. Doubt Nuge, Kane, Perry or Vinnie would be going but who knows? Even Skinner is a possibility to be traded. Wouldn't rule anything out. My main worry is that Ken Holland will be too patient. By the time he's ready to do anything all the top players who would fit in well with us might be gone. Getting through the Western Conference is going to be a war. Vancouver already got better. Now a veteran Dallas team just got better. Winnipeg too. Who knows what LA and Colorado might do? They're planning on getting better like everyone else. And let's not forget the always LTIR tricky, aggressive Vegas team. Really don't want to see Guentzel on Vegas. Probably say the same thing about Buchnevich too. All this talk and these rumors is getting to seem like a soap opera drama. Most important trade deadline for the Oilers in recent memory.

The idea of sending Kulak out is a little scary. Broberg could be a real liability in the playoffs unless he ups his game massively. Kulak and Desharnais have worked well together and have emerged as a credible third pairing, risky to mess with it.

I’m really pumped and hopes that the Oilers get Pavel B! Perfect missing top six piece with term! Kulak, Ceci and Foegele woulld have to be involved somehow. And really hate to lose Foegle? I’m a hard NO on Dowd. His stats tell me we already have many of him.
Trade Nurse then Oilers can keep Ceci, Kulak and Foegole. We don’t need a vastly overpaid D on the roaster.

So wouldn't it be more cost effective for us to get a 5/6D and guys in the bottom 6 so that, oh I don't know, the 3rd and 4th lines can contribute offensively? I like Nic Dowd, those faceoff numbers are great. Walker may be a good choice (funds permitting). I think it really depends on if someone will take Jack Campbell's contract or not. We'll see.
