Don't take this away from the kid. He earned the start, he earned the faith, he earned shutout. Even the worst teams in the NHL have talented players or else they wouldn't be in the NHL.
I hope he's the future of the Avs in net, at least in a backup role. He has a lot of good qualities that you need in a goaltender and is a HUGE dude.

His rookie season at Karpat in LIIGA he had 6 for the season so he has potential. I thought his first one was against the Flyers a few years back?
