r/nhl just has the biggest hate boner for us right now. They post a clip from each of our games to sit around like a bonfire and tell stories of “the dirty panthers”

The other week with the leafs playing the ducks, and gudas being asked about being back in Toronto. They were saying he brought it up, I put the article saying he was asked about it, got downvotes, other people came in and still said he first brought it up. I found the clip of the interview, shared it where he’s explicitly asked as the first question. Just ate downvotes and no responses. Bunch of clowns that ignore the truth and downvote cuz it doesn’t go with their hate
Same with in the comments of this tkachuk/chiarot, some guy said it should be third man in on a fight for Bennett. I asked if he considered that a fight, someone else said yeah since that’s what his comment says. I then said that’s not really a fight with only one guy gloves off throwing punches, and he said that’s how a tkachuk fight is. Looked on hockeyfights, guys got 24 fights in his career and all of them are gloves off throwing punches/grabbing…an actual fight. Again, just met with downvotes

He’s for sure a turtle. No mental gymnastics needed to justify it. He’s a shit starter, not a shit finisher. He’s on the ice to disrupt and drive offense. With a hockey IQ like his, he knows damn well not to drop the gloves. No shame in being a turtle if you can produce at a high level. If he wasn’t producing then he’d be hated like Cousins. Chucky just tries to play the rat role because he knows his teammates will take the ensuing shit storm and protect him. He’s a grade A rat with turtle shell armor. No way you can think otherwise. Anytime he’s on the ice regardless of which end… he’s going to look to engage anyone in his vicinity when the whistle blows. Often, he’s grabbed in anticipation prior to even being able to rat it up. So many butt hurt people in r/hockey because of how affective it is. NHL players know this and adjust their game accordingly. POMO says you gotta adjust your game to who’s on the ice… teams can try to stoop to our level but we seem to be the rat kings at this point and we for sure have the biggest rat of them all. All hail king rat and his turtle powers!
