I was there, cheering for Pittsburgh, but this goal earned some claps. Truly unbelievable and by far the best goal I have ever witnessed in person.
This goal changed everything, Pens had all the momentum until this happened. Energy in the stadium shifted and the fans were energized. This transferred to the flames players who were flying in comparison to the pens and ultimately they scored 2 more unanswered and took all of the momentum from Kadris goal.

Great goal. I don't think it beats out the Byfield goal a couple of weeks ago for the goal of the year, but to pull of a move like that on Kiprusoff's number retirement night is awesome.

Many miss Kadri here in Toronto. Anyone who saw how Peitroangelo stopped the Oilers' cheapshots in the playoffs last year realizes sometimes a suspension is worth it. Kudos to the way VGK neutralized Tkachuck after the cheapshot on Eichel. Great scoring play by Kadri and IMHO the Flames are lucky to have him.
