  1. I can’t believe that wasn’t boarding/charging. That was crazy dangerous. 2 game suspension minimum on that hit

  2. Robertson is the odd man out now that Jarnkrok is back. he's instantly makes the 3rd line better. shop Robertson if we can. another solid D on the right side with term is ideal. Boosh should be back soon.

  3. Kampf, Brodie and Jarnkrok are the players who should be on the trading block, heck even dangle Jones for a trade.

  4. Who is even left on the market??
Guys like Gudas have 3 years left on contract at like 4 million so unless the Leafs are willing to take on players with term there isnt much left past Sean Walker on Philly and there would be a bidding war for him.

Then regarding the defenders with term there is the fact the Leafs could have just signed players like Schenn, draft Gudas for free instead of trading away a high pick because they come with contractual control. Its so frustrating to watch play out after the Klingberg debacle

  5. Leafs send down or trade Timmins, Jones, Laggesson and Gregor. The forward lines and d-pairings are the same as last night with Bush no injury. Gio as the 7th d-man gives them a 21 man roster and over 3.6M in cap space. That's plenty to work with. Who sits out if they add another RD? I don't think they add one unless Bush has a major concussion. A forward could be the move though.

  6. Hopefully, the Russian bear doesn't miss any games. The Rempe hit on him was the most obvious 5 minute charging call that somehow the refs didn't call. Didn't notice it was so obvious until watching the replay the next day from a different camera angle. Rempe took a full 5 strides with his 6ft-81/2 inch frame, from the front of the net to hammer the bear in the corner. Can't believe that the department of player safety didn't at the very least fine Rempe. More obvious mismanagement when Leafs' players are involved.

  7. I don't really agree with your suggestions. The problem with putting Robertson on the 4th line is that it's a direct downgrade to what the 4th line is now. He is a not a 4th line player. Kampf, while more expensive is better. So if you have no room for Robertson, then you need to move him out of the lineup sadly, and maybe just consider trading him.

One more possibility you didn't mention is to move Samsanov out and keep Woll and Jones. If you want cap space, that is how you do it. Those are the 2 best goalies anyway. It's very aggressive and it might affect the team – I don't know. I just don't think Samsonov is reliable and he wasn't amazing last playoffs either. If he has any trade value right now, I might think about moving that contract out.

I also don't hate the Lyubushkin trade. In the event Brad Treliving can't get anything else done, at least had something. It's an insurance trade.

  8. I fully disagree on trading Kampf, Holmberg and Reavo have made an excellent fourth line

  9. I can’t believe there will be anything significant added. Who are they taking off the roster with value?

  10. Of course the league didn't look at the hit-and-run the refs dropped the ball on that call and the call in overtime as well.
Andrew can't send Jones down has to clear waviers or McMann and Homberg we lose them on waivers

  11. seems this happens every year Leafs get a new addition and sure enough something happens either go all in or stop yanking our chains sometimes you just have to take a chance either do the damb trade and win or piss away another year with excuses its cup or nothing now so make a decision if you lose your job because you did not win oh well so sad to bad with what a general manager makes a year please give me his position I just wish all I had the oppertunity to lose a job and still be millions richer even if I made a mistake and the team lost in the first round again thats just it ALL ABOUT MONEY NO HEART JUST GET OFF YOUR LAZY RICH ASSES AND WIN A CUP you dont play hockey to have a good season you play hockey to win the Stanley Cup

  12. Pretty sure Jones will need to be sent through waivers to go down, and theres no chance he doesn't get claimed by someone at this point in the season
