    What a ridiculous turnaround by the Caps. They went from looking like an ECHL team in that first period to absolutely dominating the rest of the game.

    AZ’s powerplay made the difference, even though they scored just once (which still helped, as Ottawa tied things in the 2nd but didn’t take a lead) on a lengthy opportunity (double-minor, then another penalty right away during the first 2 minutes)

    Glad to see Vejmelka get the win; Ottawa dominated on shots in the 2nd but couldn’t get anything going when they needed to again. Which is why coming back from a 3-0 deficit is difficult; give up yet another goal, and it’s a stab in the heart all over again.

    You must not have watched the game too closely Shannon. None of those goals were on Ersson. This team needs Risto and Drysdale back yesterday. They CANNOT continue to be playing worthless Marc Staal and Zamula 15 minutes a game and expect to win games. The defense was horrible and as a Flyers fan, I'm already getting my laundry line ready because Ersson is gonna get hung out to dry this last month of the season

    Weirdly enough the fight between Hathaway and Wilson were counted as offsetting 4 minute roughing calls

    First Flyers game I turned off early in a while. Washington gave them nothing. The Flyers win by outworking. When they don't, they don't have the talent depth to fight through it. Maybe with Konecny the Penguins and Capitals games turn out better. Full marks to Washington. I hate them, but they were definitely the better team.

    So Flyers lookin' like poop. Ottawa lookin' like poop. Tonight could be the ol' poop storm.
