  1. They played like they use to play under Trotz. Swarmy….Kyle played like a Beast and so did everyone. A Clinic was put on display, last night. Keep the foot on the Gas Boys..

  2. Smart move putting Nelson with Horvat and Barzal. Dobson continues to rack up the assists.

  3. Another win that means nothing over a b's team not as good as their record. Maybe louzer should dump 21 now while hot before the inevitable cap dump comes. Oh well now louzer will kid himself into thinking this team is better than it is based on a couple guys getting hot right now so there goes the first by friday. Truth is this team is too day and night predictable that would have trouble in first round even if they get in. And fla. took apart a hot wings team yesterday making det. look like shit 4-0. They gave wings nothing while leading. Isles can't compete against a top team on its game like cats. Say BYE BYE FIRST. And the coaching change was to make playoffs-not middling around 9th, 12th in east. Isles are still 6 pts. out in 9th with philly the only realistic team to catch pending isles stay ahead of caps, pens, nj. -21 gf/ga doesn't scream playoff team. No team on – side is in a playoff spot. And pk hasn't improved now dead last. Putting 29 with 13/14 has jump started team. Unfortunately even with 21 hot one game playing with 44, 27 which probably isn't sustainable yet that drops 18 down to bottom six which is a good thing. Not a coincedence two lines score with 18 nowhere near them. Roy figured that one out.

  4. Best win of the season imo….total domination…..need several more wins in a row to make this win matter….focus isles

  5. Oh no!…I am smelling this same lineup for the next 2-3 seasons….I apologize for being negative during some solid Hockey from the Isles, but if you want to see the team get younger and faster, repeating last season is NOT the best way to do it…And of course i don't want to see the team lose!, but the scenario developing reeks of STAGNATION…..Hope i am wrong and they go on to win this seasons cup!

  6. Fantastic win against a slumping Bruin team that was 4-8 in Feb. Who predicted we would have amassed 6 points over the last 3 games? 5 out of next 6 opponents are below the cut line. This is the time for a streak to get back in the playoff conversation. The odds are still against us, but if they play like they did Sat. they'll have a puncher's chance.

  7. Gil, we have less than $200,000 in cap space. We can’t even bring fasching back from Bridgeport. I don’t know how long Lou will get away with the conditioning stint. Like I said in the chat we must put Martin and mayfield on ltir. How about we try to bring the Long Island boy home from Ottawa. Shane pinto on the first line would be nice. I know I said duclair but I’m just dreaming now. We know the first pick is gone who else do they want aho, wahlstrom, bolduc, iskhakov ,holmstrom, Maclean? Maybe they might even want jgp back that would do us a favor losing that contract. Dare I say throw tarasenko in? lol

  8. Wow just an amazing game to watch. The most satisfying game in a real long time as a fan. Not going to say anything except hope we see more like this. I have to say seeing them perform like they are capable n locked in mentally is encouraging.

  9. This is the way the team should be playing LGI !!! They obviously can beat any team, on point Gil thank for a great show

  10. Good 🌄, Gil, how are you? What a Monday 🌄 it is. Saturday's win against Boston was fantastic. Kyle Palmieri's 🧢 trick was nice, and the fact that it was a natural 🧢 trick, made it even nicer. They only made one mistake and it cost them a goal. Now, The Islanders play St.Louis tomorrow, and hopefully they'll nake them 🎶 the blues this ⌚. Then it's CALIFORNIA, HERE WE COME. They took 3 penalties all 🌃. Heroes of the game even though Palmieri got a hat trick, IT WAS A COMMUNITY EFFORT. 🐐 of the game, NONE. Nothing would make me happier than to see The Islanders jump ahead of The Flyers, but they had to really work for it, and that goes for the 👿, too. I think Lamoriello will trade Oliver Wahlstrom like I said before, a change of scenery would do him some good. He should trade for someone who's young, and is a pure goal scorer a la Mike Bossy hard to believe it's been nearly 2 years since he passed on. Hear from you tomorrow, Gil, and LET'S GO ISLANDERS.

  11. Agree is Palms gets the natural hat, it means the B’s took the day off. They need all the help they can get. I’m sure even SJ beat a few teams that can look back and say how did we lose to these guys? Next up Blues then a Cali trip they must win 2 against SJ and the Ducks and Kings…

  12. Wally never got a fair chance.. He's benched when other players make the same mistake, he only played in spurts, never more than like 5 straight games and I don't see what Holmstrom does more of than Wally that keeps him in the lineup and I like Simon.. Defense is whats usually said about Wally but from what I see he's never been a reason why we lost or even a liability out there.. Maybe his attitude is bad and that's a reason to be benched but I've never heard that mentioned..

  13. Good morning Gil, I caught the last 10 minutes on my iPad and what a fantastic game for them 🎉i hope they keep it going 🎉coming home Wednesday 🎉🎉the weather has been fantastic 🎉 with Scotty we did a Florida panthers 🐆 game and a college d 1 game Florida gators and Miami hurricanes..

  14. I remember that game Mick got that hat trick watched it on tv. Watching micks face was priceless.

  15. Perhaps Roy is a genius. All of a sudden we have a dangerous rush, crisp passing and great net front positioning that 3 playoff teams couldn't deal with. It was awesome to watch. Our PK and PP are working and our defense is very solid. If this keeps up I'll have to give Yoda props for hiring Roy. I thought it was going to be a disaster.
It's hard to see a way to trade and upgrade. Our desirable trade candidates are all key players that have a M-NTC, and our roster is already clogged. If Yoda does make a substantial move I fear he'll have to finish gutting our prospect pool and give up more draft picks. If we had a crystal ball that showed this group will continue to be effective against top teams once opposing coaches have made the adjustment to the Isles new found offense, I would say go for it if he can get the right kind of forward. Time will tell, but these last 3 games have been awesome. Way to go, Patrick.

  16. Good morning team. You're absolutely right, Gil. Now would be a great time to see the consistency, which could possibly contribute to a much needed win streak. I take into account, the Bruins were in a bit of a slump, but those odd man rushes we had were very exciting! The Isles played the game the way they needed to. I hate to say this. If I ABSOLUTELY had to pick a "goat" of the game, with an ache in my heart, I might have to say Barzy. He miss played the puck which caused the Bruins to score their goal, but it wasn't like he didn't show up to play the game, like we tend to see in most "goats of the game." The Blues play those Flyers tonight, then we get the Blues on Tuesday, the Blues 2nd game of a back to back. Hopefully that takes it's toll and WE play the way we just did. I'm a Blues fan tonight, but they're back in the trash can tomorrow lol. Can't wait to talk about this one. Everyone, have a great day! See you all tomorrow. Until then.. Let's Go Islanders!!

  17. Best game this year, I didn't think Boston played their best game, though, but now they need a really good West Coast trip to keep them in the hunt.

  18. I had ice level seats that game vs boston. I havent read anything but pastrnack looked like shit. Was he sick or something? Up close he looked like he was either fighting some illness or he didnt sleep the night before or both. Isles still dominated them though, that was amazing to witness that up close.
