40 points this season in 55 games. What would it take to get him/do we want him?

  2. JPmoneyman

Tuch would be awesome, haven’t watched the Sabres much this year but dude is a big body who can skate and drives hard to the net. Reminds me of young Kreider with better hands. Would probably cost a shit ton to get him.

  3. Signal_Wall_8445

He would cost a lot but be worth it. Two more years at 4.75.

I would rather go big for a guy like Tuch who makes the team better for several years than continue the endless parade of rentals.

  4. Vast-Act112

Rather a player like him with multiple years left on a deal

  5. the_mair

Idk why the Sabres would wanna trade him but if they do Drury needs to be all over this

  6. TheRealThordic

Tuch would be a very solid pickup if the price was doable

  7. wholegeek

Our net front would be absolutely nasty on the first line if he’s our 1RW

  8. berkeleybikedude

Yeah Tuch would be incredible. He’s probably underperforming this year, and maybe that helps out the rangers.

There really haven’t been any trade prospects/rumors aside from ‘Senko or Buch that would get me pumped, but this one does.

Kakko and a first at minimum prob have to add Jones.

  10. WildChinoise

Do the Rangers and Sabres trade with each other?
I’m not recollecting any past trades.

  11. Krispyford

Do we think he’s affordable? A 1st, Zac Jones, and a good prospect maybe?

  12. PaulSach

I would rather Tuch than Vatrano. He can play center, too. If there’s a trade where Kakko gets moved, this would be one of them, imo. A 1st + Othmann probably doesn’t get it done.

  13. xXDireLegendXx

He’s a great player. Would love to have him

Unless Buffalo is back to burn it down rebuild I dunno why they’d trade him. Then again. It is Buffalo.

But I imagine we’d be looking at Kakko, a 1st and another low level prospect like Robertson.

This is also a rare case where I’d pull the trigger on Kakko. Tuch has an affordable contract and if Chytl is done for, we likely gain cap space to keep him long term if desired.

I also wonder if all these Buffalo rumors exist because they’re not ok Goodrows no trade list. Remember that preseason the Sabres were a chic pick to make the playoffs

This is the first trade rumor I’ve seen in a while I’d be on board for. I don’t wanna trade Kappo but if it’s for Tuch it wouldn’t hurt as much.

  16. sovietdoppelganger

I would do our first, Othmann, and possibly Jones. Not sure that gets it done. He’d solve RW until Perrault is ready, and I don’t want to trade Kakko.

  17. _snoop_doug

Tuch and Thompson for Rempe straight up gotta sell while he has all the hype around him. Get it done Drury!!!!🤣

  18. kmisca92

Like the idea wonder if the Sabres owner allows it. There was rumors he said no to Eichel being traded here and really liked that he got a local (Syracuse) player who wanted to be a Sabre back in the Eichel trade.

Trading away kakko to get a guy doesn’t make sense when you’re pushing for a ring. You can make big moves using prospects, picks, and the lower roster players. The sabers suck, so offloading salary, and hoarding picks/prospects should be their goal anyway

  20. Wesley__Willis

Interesting report, unclear why Buffalo would move him though

  21. Separate_Pound_753

Id push the chips on the table for the guy. Id probably move any young player/prospect except for Laf and Gabe. Tuch is a fantastic player and has playoff experience too. Big, fast, great hands/shot, great dude. Two years left at a great rate on his contract aswell. I love Kakko but if it came down to it Im moving him for Tuch. Same goes for Othmann.

  22. Hohumbumdum

No way in hell I would trade my boy Kakko.

  23. NYR_or_Far

This would be a dream, I didn’t even know he was available (if he actually is)

  24. Kaapo-Taco

Pretty sure he’s from Buffalo. Not sure they want to give him up too considering they got him in the Eichel deal. Wouldn’t say no though

  25. elarobot

This front office has shows a pattern and propensity for getting out in front of the deadline whenever possible and making as many of their in-season deals as they physically can before the final day / at the 11th hour at the deadline.

Its my concern that considering we haven’t seen this team yet make any additions already is based on the fact that there’s no secrets regarding the Rangers level of need; given where they are in the standings and they injuries they’ve had to the everyday roster.

And as such, there isn’t a single fair deal out there for Drury at the moment; with everyone looking to poach whatever solid prospects the organization does have and any higher round picks as the Rangers are willing to part with.

  26. Slugggo

    * »could we have him for free? »*

    * »no »*

    * »OK.* 🙁 »

  27. -RainWhenIDie-

Why would Buffalo trade him lol let’s be real

  28. JokinHghar

I have no idea how to pronounce that name but I hope I made a funny.
