$2.0 to $2.5 for 2 or 3 years would be okay.
Please dont extend these guys sorry:( Zadorov too:( package these guys and get something better 💯💯🙏🙏🙌🙌
Hronek is next priority. After that, Joshua, Blueger & Zadorov.
league min for myers. bigger priorities for joshua hronek bluegar zadorov.
Hronek gets 6-6.5. Playing for a cup contending team for the next few years should incentivize taking less.
No way, don’t resign
It’s because of Hughes and JT EP that Hronek has this point total with 2nd assist. To me at most 5-6m category. Who is going to pay 8m+? i don’t think you can find a comp in that 8m range. He is not on the first power play, doesn’t QB it either. my 2cents
Hronek no more then Hughes Miller or walked Giraffes not reliable enough also retooled zadorov is ok
Hronek 6.9 – 7.7 and Tyler Myers 2 – 2.2 million for two years and they gotta sign Joshua
Tyler at 2 x 2 would be worth consideration. Hronek at 6. I trust Allvin to do the right thing.
Myers 2.1/2
Hronek 6.2/5
QO is $5.28M so it would be great to see a $6M x 8 contract. He is certainly benefiting from playing with QH. With that being said $7 – $7.5M x 8 seems more likely.
I could see him wanting $8M given some of the comps on other teams making $8M. Hopefully he is happy in Van and signs a good deal.
If you wouldn't jump at the chance to sign Myers, a player who is averaging almost 19 min a night on a top 3 team in the western conference, for $2-2.5 million, I really have to question if you know what you're talking about. That would be one of the best signings this management group has ever made. A top 4 RHD D for that little? Damn, that would be amazing.
Trade Myers to make room for Hronek at 6X5
Outside of the bad penalties I think Myers is underrated. He has flashes of brilliance offensively from time to time and he makes the odd gaffe but really who on this team doesn't. He just seems like he is so much worse than he is because of the 6 million contract. 3 million a year is actually a pretty good deal I think.
As long as Myers and Hronek''s next deals is LESS than their combined cap it now, its OK. 10.4M. now
Hronek at 6.8 Myers at 2.2.
Thats 9 mill. Space saved.
Hronek has been easily the second best Dman on the team. Soucy third. I think at 7-7.5 would be a team friendly. He probably could fetch 8-8.5 on another team. Very consistant player. Very few mistakes. My biggest grievance with Meyers is that he is over paid. 3 is probably a little over payment. He has played a much better game this season. Getting Soucy back should help.
They're not extending Myers
Myers 2 years @ 1.5 per
Hronek 8 yrs @ 7.5 per
I want big Z back
If we resign Tyler Myers, his contract will be five dollars because that’s all he deserves and that’s how he plays this
Nancy Kerrigan
I would hronek 6.5 and then. Would find out what Tanev would be asking before thinking bout myers
I"I don't know how long this video is going to be" – Obviously you do Gio since you know the length of the video when you uploaded it! Unless it was sarcasm or a rhetorical question?
The Gio Palermo conundrum!
Doubt it, everyone knows van is anauto bust no matter what the league would never let them be a winner. Too profitable being a loser.
Myers has the size, which makes him a wanted/needed commodity, but he's a bottom-pairing guy who can play as a top-4 for short period of time.
If the Canucks can retain him for max $2m/year, it would solidify the bottom pairing…. but it does also take up a roster spot that could be used to allow prospects to cut their teeth in the NHL. Players like Woo, Johansen, McWard, Willander, etc will need to eventually get NHL games to either sink or swim.
Myers haters are idiots.
I agree with everything you have to say about hronek. If he made an argument to get paid as much as hughes, it would be that he brings a physical aspect that hughes does not. $6.5-7. That money would come from Myers' smaller contract, which I can see being more of a 2x$2M for a bottom 6 roll. If Myers gets more it's bc he plays special teams, and there's still room foe that.
If Myers comes back it would be the first bad move by this new management team
