All I have been hearing about this guy is that he is lazy and lacks effort. He may be a goal scorer, but I just don’t think he is the guy this team needs considering their severe lack of effort problem the team has right now.

As primarily a Wings fan, Mantha had his moments in Detroit, but didn’t use his size often and looked lazy out on the ice. He looked decent for the Caps when I watched them. I hope a change of scenery helps (if he even stays), since I’m a Vegas fan as well!

Looking like the maximum 50% will be retained by the Caps. So VGK will be on the hook for $2.85m.”
