@Flames de Calgary

#nhl #faits saillants #hockey #calgaryflames #seattlekraken

  1. Don’t like the hit but as a pro hockey player you can’t put yourself in that position. Brutal to watch guys do this all the time.

  2. I think it is time to eliminate checking from hockey. Rubbing people out should be allowed however. If the NHL cares about its players, it will eliminate it. Some may complain, but it will become a much faster moving game. Defenceman should be allowed a higher level of contact if skating backwards head to head with someone, but these corner poundings need to go. If that happened when I was reffing, I'd consider a match: from behind, vulnerable, may have left feet, intent to injure, head first…just too many things to list. When will these players learn that ending someone's career is not worth a win in the corners?!

  3. First hit is meh. kinda just got smoked. 2nd hit is for sure suspendable but Dunn should get an earful for actually putting himself in that position. that is 100% a player thinking. "I cant be hit in this position" and trying to get free time out of it.

  4. He's eventually going to pull this against the wrong team and get decapitated by a Reaves, Wilson, Rempe etc.

  5. If the league dosent do anything against pospisil, other teams will, and he will have a target on his back

  6. That’s a clean hit, guy intentionally stood 2 feet from the board knowing flames are on the forecheck, play on. It’s hockey not soccer.

  7. Players have no idea how to keep their heads up or how to properly absorb hits anymore. Coaches don’t even teach it now so everyone gets f’d up after they get hit.

  8. Both hits were probably penalties… Second one no doubt. But wtf were Larsson and that other guy thinking?? Just stand there with their back facing the ice and nobody can hit them? Stupid man, they're gonna get brain damaged and it's not 100% fault to whoever does it to em. They're literally just standing there looking at the puck with their back to the play. I'd be surprised if flamer gets more than 2 (games).

  9. god why are all these hockey channels so soft? Why is Gen Z filled with absolute pussies? Holy shit people.. it's hockey. Maybe you'd be more of a fan of women's field hockey??

  10. Imagine trying to work your way up to the next and be a good part of a team, being a hard nose guy and had some talent, only for you to crumple when your about to get a knuckle sandwich in the face. Weak. Absolutely weak.

  11. Needing to fight after every hit is pathetic. Hanging out trying to draw hits is absolutely insane.

    Throwing a hit like that second one is outright dangerous. Loads of morons in the NHL this season – really not happy with “todays NHL”

  12. Probably shouldn't just stand there facing the boards with your head down waiting to get wailed on. Unless your trying to get a penalty, then go for it.

  13. that's a boarding penalty this is stupid. Like yeah you got 6 concussions but you have to be held liable for your actions. For example if your going to play like a brat you're going to get hit

  14. I'm starting to think teams are going to bring back enforcers out of necessity because of dogshit hits from guys like Popisil and the emergence of Rempe in the East. The push for a "skill" league can be countered by goons in a heartbeat. Look at what happened when Toronto got bullied by Florida last playoffs.
