Hey Kevin, great vid! I really think Fitzgerald is under a lot of pressure to get the Markstrom deal done, so whether it is before the trade deadline or during the offseason, Markstrom is rumored to be the target. I would prefer they pursue a younger goalie like Saros or Ullmark, but if the rumors are to be believed, the Saros asking price was so astronomical that it was a non-starter. Alexander Holtz appears to be the main trade chip and with where he is playing on the Devils roster due to Lindy's assessment of him, he still has some things to work on before putting the league on notice. In a couple of seasons, he will be scoring in the same fashion as Sharangovich. I also think the Devils need a coaching change. They never should have let Brunette leave last year.

The Devils are not making the playoffs. Doubtful they make a big trade for Hanifin or Markstrom, they have a lot to be optimistic about next year, and they can get a goalie later.
