  1. Exactly none of those proposed trades gets Buch. A couple of them are laughably miles away from even being competitive. Deferring 1sts 2-3 drafts away ain't gonna fly. Packing in a bunch of meh dumps ain;t gonna fly. Lame C- grade prospects ain't gonna fly. And not including a young legit top 4 caliber Dman is not going to fly. These offers are all what EDM wants to give up. What they want to give up is irrelevant. The Blues are the opposite of motivated sellers and there would be several other teams in the bidding, so you're going to need to knock their socks off with a offer – all of these offers just smell like dirty socks. None of them have any concern for what it would take to get the Blues to come off Buch. That third one is the worst trade offer with two 1st rounders in it in history.

Let's be very clear: Start with Broberg and the 24 1st, and add something useful from there. And they still might easily get beaten by another offer.

  2. The only deal ive seen that the blues might consider is NYR for Perreult and a first.

  3. I wish Washington would willing to trade Tom Wilson & Wilson would be willing to waive his ntc/nmc to come here. Trade Evander Kane & Raphael Lavoie & a 1st rnd draft pick. Washington gets value back in Kane & a decent prospect in Lavoie & a 1st. While Edmonton finally gets a legitimate Right Wing power forward who does it all & his 3 years younger than Kane. Is it too much for Wilson? Or too little? My guess is it depends upon on your perspective on which team you cheer for.

  5. Don't really want to loose Kulak until at least the upcoming draft as he always seams to show up even more so in the Playoffs. Yet… Getting Buchnevich would be an awesome get for Edm. I think that the top9 would be REALLY balanced well with Buchnevich on the second line.

  6. First and foremost, any trade that the Oilers might decide on would require the approval of both GM Holland and CEO Jackson. Furthermore, Holland has repeatedly stated that because of the cap crunch, it would have to be money in and money out. Furthermore, Holland has also stated that he and Jackson are not interested in trading first round draft picks or any top player in their lineup including defenseman Philip Broberg. So, that narrows down the possibilities by a considerable margin.

  7. As a blues fan I can't see this proposed trade working. The GM Armstrong said he was looking to go younger. Also the blueline is crowded as is. Many sources are saying it would take a kings ransom to Pry Buchnevich out of st. Louis, this seems pretty low value for them
