  1. 3 team trade to van guentzel to Boston lindholm to Pitts debrusk podkolzin Beecher boston 2nd rounder n van 2nd rounder

  2. Why would the penguins do that, they need to get younger not trade a 29 year old for a 29 year old.

  3. Lmao such a bad take. Ship off lindholm. Brought him in to make in impact, haven’t seen it and it’s been a month. He will be a UFA at the end of this season and he’s basically supposed to be here only to make an impact in this year’s playoffs. Get Guentzel and at least you have a chance of someone who can make a substantial positive impact.

  4. Yes. Even if guentzel is not up to snuff, we’re no further behind because lindholm is way underperforming for all the hype placed on him.

  5. If the Canucks can also get rid of Ilya Mikheyev and not having to trade Podkolzin, Willander, lekkerimaki & Raty, they should make the trade!

  6. You'll never see anything good from Lindholm. He's an overrated third line centreman, the rest of the league has to know this by now.

Vancouver made a serious mistake trading for him, Boston would be stupid to make a swing for him. Vancouver is going to have to overpay to shake themselves of this guy AND get Guentzel!!

  7. I would do it but I can’t see Pittsburg doing it. Lindholm has been very disappointing so far I thought he would have made more of an impact.

  8. I'd be very careful if I were the Canucks. Lindholm is the kind of guy you want for the playoffs. He's a shutdown centre who can win face-offs. Maybe he hasn't been tearing it up offensively, but even though scoring is back up, this still isn't the 80s, or even the early 90s. Jim Rutherford in Pittsburgh had 3 excellent centres, Crosby, Malkin and Jordan Staal. I'm pretty sure when they were winning cups with that lineup, fans weren't complaining that Staal was too good to be on the 3rd line or because he wasn't putting up a ton of points, he was useless and they should go out and get another top 6 winger. Yes, Mikheyev is completely snake bit and unless by some miracle a team takes that cap hit, there's nothing anyone can do about that, except maybe sit him because he may still be suffering from injury – like Pettersson 2 years ago, when he was struggling. I'm not too concerned about scoring. I'm more concerned with defensive errors. If anything, maybe it's easier said than done, Mikheyev and Myers could be replaced by a top 4 defenseman like a cheaper, under the radar Chris Tanev. People are definitely missing the point with Lindholm. This isn't the 80s.

  9. The only way this happens is if Van is willing to trade one of their premium prospects alongside Lindholm. They’re not getting Guentzel one for one.

  10. As a Canuck fan I don't see this happening. Lindholm brings more to the plate come playoff time. He has 5/6 more weeks to go in the season to fit in. I think the Canucks are done trading. Now this team has to come together and play Tocchet hockey.
