  1. I'm a Leafs and a Senators fans, so my 1 team got fleeced in a trade that sets up my other team to face a stronger opponent in the playoffs. I would literally rather he walked for nothing in the off-season than this. Absolutely gross.

  2. Florida scares me. Boston also scares me based on style of play as a leafs fan. Tarasenko could be Florida's Barbashev. Just dont want to face them in the 1rst or 2nd round. Lmao we'll see…

  3. This is a warning to ALL GMs in future negotiations you have to do more diligence when handing out NTC and NMC especially to players with ties to a certain team.

  4. I think Ottawa had a lot higher hopes when they signed Tarasenko last year. And the NMC was there to try and persuade him to stay if things went well. And then of course this season fell off the wheels right at the beginning and Ottawa has nothing to show and has had massive regression. I truly think Ottawa needs to seriously consider gutting the entire team this summer and start from scratch. Maybe move Brady if they can get the right deal and then try another 2-3 year rebuild. And get a damn reliable goaltender!

  5. That was one of the weirdest silver linings I've heard. Even for you, Dangle. Hah.

Usually a consolation is when something comes out of a bad situation, or as a result. Typically not something that already happened and still would have been true with or without this weak deal. Hah.

Starting to feel better yet, Ottawa fans?
