Middleton could get 2 1sts for a desperate team like toronto. They need defense, hes cheap and has another yr on that contract. Hes top 4 almost anywhere. Except like winnipeg n vegas. Defensive, grit, character. Hes better and more important than tanner jeanot. Bg needs to wow me this week. Put gaudrau on ltir hes clearly injured, hasnt been right since core muscle surgery.
Jacob Middleton is an RFA. He is not a UFA. He is a second pairing defenseman at best, but the Wild defensemen are so woeful that he often has to play on the top line.
Why would Brandon Duhaime want to stay in Minnesota? The coaches won't give him any other duty but bottom line minutes and penalty kill. If another team gives him a chance on a scoring line, it would be a good idea for him to move on. The money comes with points, and he can't get points playing where Minnesota plays him.

I would trade Merill, Duhiame as well as Middleton as we would likely be able to aquire some decent picks/prospects.

Kirill is finally back to 90%! He was far more injured than the team would allow us to know. Matt Boldy is young and flaky as heck! The resto of the team outside of Faber and Middleton are psychotic! You never know if players will show up or passengers! There is no accountability or discipline! The cancer Billy G created is "The Check Is In The Bank" Syndrome. They can't bench me, can't trade me but they do have to pay me!!! This cycle is set in place for 2 more seasons. This sucks because next year will be "More of the same"!

ohhhhh the humanity……this season is the fireball zeppelin. So that Sharks game was textbook Psychology 101. Observe: the Wild nuked their last chance by losing to both the Preds and Blues. The Sharks, being the Wild 2.0, almost beat us…they wanted that W bad. We didn't care, except Kap….he had enough, because he's a superstar. That's how he is wired. Everyone else, besides maybe Faber and Rossi…just doesn't care anymore, and it is SO obvious if you know what you're looking for. I even got the score right, but I predicted 4-3 OTW for the Wild.
Either way, Billy has some work to do, and he had better start selling, for his sake.

Said a long time back. Brandon was the only guy I would trade for at the deadline ..I dont think we're going to get a lot for him though. ..The Rangers would be absolutely bonkers to get Zucc back. They need toughness and bottom depth..(Brandon) Need to somehow talk some of these guys with no move clauses Hartman, Marcus, to go chase a cup… This lineup needs a big turnover..
Gus needs to figure it out. He had a .89 expected goals after the second period but they scored 3 goals. He has been awful.
There just not big and fast on defense. Time to rebuild. And they are to old.

Carson Lambos is playing on the 3rd pair on a God awful IA team. He is probably 2 or more years away if he ever makes it.
