    Noooooo. Why? I get it. Phill has a massive resume and is a great player. But he’s been off for like 6-7 months. An already slow and generally out of shape player is even slower and more out of shape. Is that what we need? Some of the videos from Abby were bad, guy was chugging air on the bench.

    I personally am not a Kessel fan (in current form) but if the cap space is there and no one else is available it makes sense to sign the guy for as a depth forward. He’s a free asset with zero PoA so if it’s a miss he can just sit in the booth and watch.

    I’m glad it looks like JR and PA have left Kessel to the final moment so every other option can be evaluated.
