  1. they've turned mark stone into an annual joke. i don't care if he got hit by a rocket launcher. it's him, every time, and everyone knows, come game 1, what's gonna happen.

  2. Seriously you dont know how to make the LTIR rules fair? If the guy is gonna play at all in the playoffs, then he counts against the cap. How hard is that?

  3. 3 way deal
    Ullmark to Jersey (please)
    Toffoli to Vancouver
    Lindholm to Boston

As a devils fan, I’d rather give up my foot than see Toff play for the canes

  4. I don't think people who have a problem with the Vegas cap stuff have a problem with a hard salary cap as Chris said. If anything, they have a problem with the cap being not hard enough. I am all for a team being able to acquire players to replace an injured player to make a push for the playoffs, but they should have to dress a cap compliant roster for the playoffs. If that means Vegas has to sit Mantha or whoever, so be it. Again, nobody is debating that Vegas made up a lacerated spleen, the trickery is that the spleen is magically going to be 100% fine for game 1. If the spleen was healed for round 2 or something people may not complain as much, but we all know Stone will be eligible to play with like 6 or 7 games left, but he will be injured on paper until game 1 of the playoffs for cap reasons. Again this is not an issue with a hard cap, it's just that the league does not impose rules that make it an ACTUAL hard cap.
