I don’t really see this one as a head scratcher. Trotz is taking a flyer on a waiver wire pick up. He’s already done it twice this season – Foudy and Fagemo. Fagemo was sent back on waiver and re-claimed by LA, Foudy from CBJ who is now in Milwaukee.
You take a shot to see if Anderson-Dolan maybe fits better in our system and if so, yatzee you get a new prospect, and if not you can send them to Milwaukee or back to LA.
