Can we stop with Kakko on the top line talks? He does not belong there, 3rd line yes, 1st line no way. Kakko is a bust going from the position where he was drafted. He is a capable NHLer and 3rd liner, but not enough talent to play top 6.
For that price at 32 yrs. old isn't there another player they can choose? BJagstad lower price great potential. If Drury thinks these two players are a big plus to the Rangers drive then go with it.
Wouldn't mind having another big guy on the team. Rangers can finally shed their reputation if being too soft

As long as any deal includes dumping Lafreniere, I'm all for it. My dead grandmother could have better numbers on a line with Panarin and Trochek. Absolutely need to hang onto Othmann, Cuylle, and Perreault.
That kid Zucker is a big kid, you can put him on the line with rempe or with kaako if kaako is not traded, it would make a ton of sence because he Zucker can score from anywhere on the ice and he's not afraid to go hard to the net to score a dirty goal.
Always liked Bjugstad … but if we're trading for 2 3rd liners, and Zucker needs 50% retained salary I don't think you pay much more than a 1st plus some additional middle draft choices, or a true B prospect — don't want to trade Berard, Othmann, Perrault (of course), Edstrom or Rempe.

Bjugstad would seemly work as 3/4C. Would be awesome to see him with Rempe, and Edstrom. Or with Cuylle and Vesey would be interesting too. Physicality is more important in the playoffs, when the refs put the whistles away.
