Hey, I’ve been wearing a #82 Marty Straka jersey since the noughties. He got traded a year after I got it for Christmas (back when sports jerseys were like, THEE big holiday present) and I have yet to get a newer player’s jersey to wear to games. We love our Pens even once they’ve moved on from playing hockey in PGH 🙂

My husband isn’t allowed to buy jerseys anymore. Every time he does, they leave shortly after. He has a fleury and Kessel jersey. My two jerseys have stayed with the team a lot longer since buying or are still there, Letang and Dumo.

It happens man. You can still wear those! They traded away my favorite player, Jordan Staal, a few years ago. I have three Staal jerseys and still wear em. Carolina is a great organization too so it could be way worse
