Sjallin is a 24 year old AHL defenseman, so very little return. But they did right by the captain.

Probably never should have signed him this off-season but hopefully he can make an impact in the playoffs.

I do respect Okie as a player and a person. He’s been through a lot in his career and still came back a warrior. That said his contract has been deadweight on this team for half a decade, and his leadership skills are very overblown.
I’d wish him luck, but fuck Florida.
