  1. The offense and goaltending can both be more than good enough but that defense just doesn't look good enough. I think they get the 3rd and final spot or at least fight with Vancouver and Seattle for it but that's it.

  2. why is no one talking about looch? hes coming into the prime of his career. no one can keep the puck on a string like a looch can either and his pure speed is undeniable.

  3. Flames fan here……no playoffs. Not enough elite goal scoring talent on the team, defense is questionable, goalie situation is also questionable (don't really know which version of Markstrom we're gonna get and Dan Vladar is completely unproven as a backup).

I wish it were different but I don't think we have what it takes this year.

  4. If our top 6 are inconsistent again this is gonna be a looong year. My prediction is were gonna just barely make it and out first round again XD =D

  5. Anyone that watches the Flames knows that there’s still potential with Gaudreau and Tkachuk. Unfortunately, I just don’t think there’s enough left from the 2019 team to get them deep in the playoffs. They’re so close and yet so far.

  6. I feel so bad for Calgary fans. Getting Zadorov is a big L, he will be fun to watch for the big hits but you'll find yourself pulling out your hair over the dumb decisions he makes with the puck and in his own end. Atleast he's only signed for 1 year.

  7. A Mangiapane-Backlund-Coleman line would drive teams nuts in both zones. Not a Flames fan so I don't know what they have been running in camp, but I would like to watch that.
