  1. Nothing surprising here. I never could figure how they COULD make worthwhile, positive moves with these top heavy contracts. The guys I would want to see move carry too much cap hit for other teams to take on without the Blues getting the shorter end of the talent stick in such a deal. They’re committed to years of mostly this same squad.

So we’re left with these players that clearly can play a great game, but just seemingly DON’T for a significant number of games each season. The same team that is primed for its second straight playoff absence, something that hasn’t happened since the days before Ken Hitchcock. I like this team , but it doesn’t seem like they’re interested in playing 82 games worth of hockey. Every time I have gotten excited, they go on to drop 2/3 to 3/4 of their games within a couple of weeks, and lose all the ground they had made. Really deflating as a fan.

  2. Army. Please move on from the Jordan kyrou mission. He's not getting better. Waste of speed and talent. Bring big rig home. Keep buch. Trade jrou. Bring in the kids.

  3. Trade Buch, as much as I would bate to see him go, this team is absolute garbage defensively.

  4. To sum it up: it’s going to be at least a few more years before the Blues have a chance of truly being contenders again.

  5. Armstrong needs to go, is interview shows how completely delusional he is!!!!!!!!!

  6. look John, I f*cked up. I signed players in the past and gave them NTC's and M-NTC's and now I can't move them.
John, realistically we're 5-7 years away from actually contending again.

  7. Doug Armstrong You Would Not Want To Coach This Team You Put Together. Way Over Paided Players With Long Term, No Movement Clauses, That You Gave To Everyone Of Them All You DA. And Now You Can`t Move Them Out. Hell You Will Probably Get More Of Them. Why Ownership Does Not Fire You Is Beyond Me. This Team Will Be Middle Of the Pack For Several Years To Come. Missing The Playoffs And Draft Picks Not Panning Out. Bye Doug Armstrong You Need To Go And Go Now.

  8. Doug Armstrong Gave Everyone Of These Bad Contracts To These Players On The Blues That Other GM`s On Other Teams Do Not Want No Part Of At All. And DA Does Not Buy Out Players At All Are Retain Any Salary On Any Transactions In Order To Trade A Bad Contract He Gave Out.

  9. Where Is The Full Interview I Know There Is More Than This They Showed DA Talking On NHL Network From What Looked Liked This Interview And He Said Different Things And More.

  10. Armstrong definetly has something on Stillman just as much as J Mo has something on the DeWitts. No way people smart enough to make as much money as they have are okay with keeping people like Armstrong and J-Mo around. Use Berube as a scapegoat after signing shitty players just as much as J Mo. It's like there is a dumb-fuck St. Louis sports team cabal. Jesus Christ. I'm an average fan and could make better decisions than both of these clowns in the same season. Complete joke. Must have took a few pointers from the Biden administration on how to be a leader
