In my opinion It's either Winnipeg or Vancouver that will win the next cup for a Canadian team due to the fact that the oilers probably won't help the bottom 6 anytime soon and the leafs are the leafs. Winnipeg has been sitting in the shadows for years, and now is their time to strike. Vancouver is finally meeting expectations and looks like an unstoppable force on defense. Between the two, I think Winnipeg has the best shot, but hellebuyck needs to be playing his A game.

Oilers are a wild card, but they are not built like traditional stanley cup winners (backend and goaltending) but McDavid and Drai carried them last two years before falling to eventual cup champions but this time they do look deeper, and defense seems to be more consistent. Jets look dangerous, backend is amazing, goaltending is top notch, offence additions just gave them an edge.
