I just don't see these additions overcoming what the other teams did, roslovic is fine but if we got a real top line winger , I'm disappointed but playoffs anything can happen.

Getting rid of Kakko & Otthman And possibly a number one pick for a rental is pure stupidity. As we all know, we got Tarasenko and Patrick Kane last year and did nothing.

I wanted a steak, instead they served me a hamburger. Yeah, it fed me, but it wasn't what I wanted. I felt like Frank was who we really needed to get production on the top line. Even if Mika was flat, he would shoot and shoot some more.
We have to be logical here not emotional. Guentzel addition is not bringing a cup to NYC. If Tarasenko and Kane (not 100%) didn't do it why it Guentzel? Drury did the right thing here.
If Mika and Kreider wake up and play their best , which we all know what the both of them can really do , but it just hasn’t been there this year , not even slightly , but if they can wake up and Igor stands on head when he has to , with the depth we just added we can go on a run , so I’m just praying the whole team really wants it this year and they play their hardest and play for each other
And like you said maybe kako shows more in playoffs and here at the last stretch… I also feel like laf has another gear that can come out , he gets so many scoring opportunities… it’s a matter of time before they start going in and his confidence goes through the roof
This team is done no use pretending that there good won't get out of this Division getting bargain bin players are not going to win the cup. Hurricanes are too strong and have a smarter Gm and will sweep them thanks to drury who did nothing hes absolutely useless what was he thinking
This was the year! The team is offensively competitive cycling puck and producing chances. Igor is hitting his stride at the right time and the team is in near the top in pts. They needed to spend on a few key players and they would have been in contention. With this lineup they will not make it past 2 series. Very disappointed!
The problem with the first line is not Mika, it’s all Krieder. Love the player and what he brings but he is not a first line skill set. He has to playbooks either streak up the middle break away or post in front of the net. His luck handiling is sub par. You need skills guys on first line and he is not and bringing down Mika with him!

UPDATE: A report came out from Vince Mercogliano that the Penguins demanded more from the Rangers out of any team. I’ll admit I was wrong in thinking that wouldn’t be the case considering he was still traded him in division so that changes my outlook there.

I actually am also pleasantly surprised and am kinda liking what drury did in hindsight reminds me alot of 2022 with coop Vatrano and Braun minus motte who they also got that year but Edstrom or rempe count as the 4th line adds that have been solid I think Wennberg and Roslovic especially could be perfect fits to what the rangers need and now there’s no bottom 6 guys playing too high in the lineup which should give the team some nice depth and a chance to really roll 4 solid lines
Drury is right in the sense that it’s the core guys that are gonna get this team over the hump not 1 guy they add at the deadline and hopefully drury basically showing his faith in the core will motivate them to really bring their best this postseason and having all legit top 9 players again just makes the team more deep

My thoughts? Not NEARLY enough to match things other top eastern teams did.
Also I'd be remiss if I didn't add love the passion around the team and when I was younger I remember crying when they won the cup in 94 so I know emotion plays a role in it
