I understand seeing Benny pushed out but still sucks

    This isn’t it. Wtf.

Benny has been a warrior and has been getting better every single night. This is absolutely trash.

Beniot being the odd man out after the season he’s had blows my mind.

That said, if they are going to try things and fail now is the time to do it.

Those are certainly some of the lines ever

I don’t like seeing my lil eggs benny getting pushed down the lineup

Think there’s a chance to go 11-7 just to mess with pairings and see what we have? I can’t wrap my head around benching Benoit

They could have let Benoît have a more prominent role tonight since he’s playing at home (yy, Laval is not technically Montreal, but it’s close enough!). He played better than a few people in those line ups anyway, so it would be for the team’s benefit anyway 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

This is just how it has to be with how our defence is constructed.

You can’t have Benoit, Edmundson & Lyubushkin in all at the same time. You’re just asking for disaster as these guys aren’t the best puck movers. You need to have Liljegren in there for lineup balance.

We’re going to have to rotate these 3 guys in and out going forward

Brodie gonna get caved on top pair

I don’t like to see Benoit out, but it’s fully possible he’s got a lingering injury that he’d benefit from sitting a game or two for. And if he is the 7th guy, yeah I don’t like to see it, but you need a 7th guy. You don’t make it far in the playoffs with the 6 D you started with, a guy like Benoit coming in healthy and fresh in the playoffs is a great thing. You *want* your team to be deep enough that guys who don’t deserve to sit are sitting.

Brodie and Liljegren are the weak chains of this defense. Can’t win with them.

I don’t care what the numbers say. Eye test tells me Brodie should be out of the lineup before Benny.

All of you freaking out about the lineup. This isn’t set in stone… this is to give guys that haven’t played with us the experience to see where they fit in the lineup.

Relaxxxx…. Benoit is out of the lineup to see how our two new D work. It’s like none of you have ever played hockey before.
