    Torts' shtick has grown old…sure, he had a dead cat bounce in CBJ but honestly, his rangers' teams underachieved greatly and he's done pretty much nothing. He's a hypocrite and the players know it

    Heck I know refs are people, but damn they’re super sensitive. Wes only got popular because of his way he calls penalties. Whats torts going to do? Throw a bench on the ice with his broken hand?

    Right or wrong, Torts absolutely contributes 800 percent to the entertainment value of the game. You have to love him, even if you hate him.

    Hate Tortotella, hate the refs more. Should have stayed and had the team forfeit to send a message. Call your congressional representative and demand an investigation into NHL officiating now!

    he's the one going around saying "This is hockey", "this is not hockey enough", etc, and then he refuses to listen to the refs. what a clown

    If 90% of the players and coaches love a ref and the fans and Torts are the ones who hate him, he's doing a great job. Wes is still one of the best in the business. Admittedly the temper tantrum was fun to watch though.
