Donc, avec des gars comme Lecavalier, Boyle, Richards et Andreychuk dans le bâtiment, il était normal que nous ayons un classique de tous les temps de John Tortorella sur le banc. Après un départ terrible pour les Bolts, abandonnant un but précoce, obtenant quelques mauvaises pénalités, dont une mauvaise conduite de 10 minutes de Hathaway, il a laissé l’arbitre Wes McCauley l’entendre. Effectivement, la gâchette a été heureuse pour McCauley qui l’a ensuite expulsé du match à peine 10 minutes après le début de la première période. Inutile de dire qu’il a complètement perdu la tête. Il a refusé de quitter le banc et a juré comme un marin ce faisant. C’était un classique instantané.
