Thanks for the trade deadline post report–Really disappointed that the Blues stood pat rather than attempt to acquire some draft currency–they are not a playoff team at this point ,but, I guess GM Armstrong believes this group can rebound next season.

From what I've heard on Phil Kessel also is that in his contract he would start in the AHL and would have to be called up to play in the NHL and apparently he didn't like that

I'm not a Bruins fan but I'm glad that the deal didn't go through. Signing PLD was, and is, on (GM) Rob Blake so he needs to be stuck with this failure for a good, long time instead of weasling his way out of it via a trade.
