The 2 games against the leafs this week have really been Bostons well played games the last couple weeks.

This is why i don't get excited for individual accomplishments anymore. Sure it would be cool to see Matthews get 70 but 0 goals in like the last 5 or 6 games against PLAYOFF teams. I love Willy but this is why i thought they should've traded him

Call me naive, but it seems more likely to me that the 2011 Cup team reunion ceremony date was chosen based on the schedules of all the former players, not to troll the Leafs.

I liked the pushback in the 2nd and 3rd. Willy has to be better and Woll needs to stop the breakaway shot and the point shot. Leafs will be fine.

I've been a fan since 62 and I've seen the changes, 1st, Canadians teams have to overpay for talent which effectively lowers the Canadian cap, 2ndly the NHL promotes skill in the regular season and dirt in the playoffs, 3rdly tax differences. Concerning the Leafs they have too many skilled players that refuse to get down and dirty when the occasion calls for it, 1 skilled softie you can support, but 4 is a losing formula, especially when your d-core couldn't push the Pillsbury doughboy outta the crease, although Trev is working on it. Boston is a soft team compared to the Panthers and Vegas, so the Leafs are out the 1st round, and the only cure is to retool and trade some skill.

The simple truth is that Keefe is being out coached. He doesn’t change his style of play when facing teams like Boston.
