Ban the concussion protocol for robbing Pickard of a shutout. Maybe we should redefine shutouts to stopping every shot that's saved and not not allowing a goal during the game (which does hurt all 0 goalies in the NHL who don't face a shot for 60 minutes).
Looking at the stats you would think I as a goalie and an Oilers fan would have loved this. I got to watch a ton of saves and my team win 4-0. But it was just kinda there, and I couldn't even celebrate Pickard having another shutout on the stat sheet.
If todays effort ( or lack thereof) from the Penguins doesn't convince you to move the to the bottom row on you power rankings, nothing will.
If Sully isn't gonna after this season, the team is gonna be in for a decade of darkness.

Pens are checked out not only on the season but on the team.. I think they realize its curtains for the group.

I know the NHL loves them 2 games in 3 days and back to backs,but what they did the Pitt was insane. Two afternoon games within 21 hours of each other,away then home,and losing an hour of sleep on top of that.

McDaniel is a beast! Draisaitl and Hyman are awesome as well! When they get better defensively and get better goaltending, they will win the whole thing! I say this as a Panthers fan. The Oilers have had their cups with Gretzky and Messier and I feel they will again. I hope this year it is the Panthers turn to finally win the Stanley Cup. Or two!
