   I know we’re not likely to resign Kahkonen but I actually really like this move by Fitz. Low risk medium reward with two veterans who are likely undervalued due to playing on terrible teams.

   If the ask for a top 15 goalie this offseason is too steep you at least have a chance to have stability in net anyway.

   Nice little collection of quotes from the new guys. This is probably the most important actual news in the article though:

   > Allen, who won a Stanley Cup title with St. Louis in 2019, still needs Visa clearance before he can make his Devils’ debut.

   I’m definitely guilty of conflating being able to practice with being able to play, so it’s nice to see confirmation in writing that Allen’s still not able to play yet.
