51 goals against in 17 starts, which is exactly 3 goals per start. 43 goals in 16 starts when you don’t count the Minny game, which is 2.69 goals per start and still very respectable. Also, during those 17 starts, the Canucks scored 59 goals or 3.47 goals per game. As long as they can sustain the latter statistics, we should be fine over an 8-game stretch without Demmer.
