Kesselring and Durzi are the only two I'd bring back..AND I would try Durzi up front between Guenther and Cooley the last 8-10 games to see if F is a better fit for 50…as much as I like him he is small for a Dman…
considering it was John Madden's bread and butter as a player, I'm surprised we didnt see Cooley on the PK looking to pick off a D to D pass and be off to the races….kinda like Grabner did…
I would love to see Petey break down the Yotes ridiculous attempts to break out of their own zone. The ones where the d-man takes the puck behind the net for 5-10 seconds waiting for everyone to get into position, and then comes out and tries to make a 100+ foot pass that is always picked off. They do this over and over and it drives me nuts.
This will all mean nothing if Meruelo cannot close the deal on March 14……………
