Last night was excellent for scoreboard watching, and I wake up this morning with Detroit back in a playoff spot

The momentum may have already started shifting against Vegas, because that was a pretty decent game in a stretch of tough losses. Gotta grind out a greasy win tonight to get back on track.

LA done us a huge favour last night, please do not let it go to waste.
That game against the Islanders on the 21st is going to be a massive game. Could be the game that determines which one of us makes the playoffs.

Hoping for other teams to lose just so we can hardly squeak into the playoffs just doesn’t feel right to me. They either deserve it or they don’t. Either way we’ve still progressed over previous seasons.

Kane is back in Buffalo, where he started out before being rescued and brought to the Verbeek house in MI. Not sure it means much at this point of his career but if anything could spark a turnaround we need it. Please don’t play as bad as we did in Chicago, but a similar type of emotional win could be huge for the boys.
Either way please please please give us some points.

When is Larkin projected to be back, another week?
Sabres, Coyotes, Sabres, Pens, Blue Jackets, Isles. Some of the not so good teams in the league, but the wings most important stretch of the season coming up. I think realistically gotta hope for a minimum of 8-9 out of the 12 points available to keep it close for a playoff chance. Will certainly help when ever Larkin gets back but the rest of the team needs to step it up.

Do we know who’s starting tonight? I say go with Reimer tonight, not perfect in Vegas but the game was far from his fault. If he gets the win, I say ride him until he gets the start against the Sabres first half the back to back this weekend, and then let Lyon face a struggling Pens.
