Being a blackhawks fan, I love how beard is playing and how fun it is to watch him, I just hope that he doesn’t turn into another mcdavid just on the Blackhawks.
Sounds more impressive when you factor in that he is 91 overall in points out of everyone and he's been on a 6 week, 14 game, injury leave… if he didn't go on that leave he'd be better than Matthews was in Matthews' first season possibly 10 goals more than him… and Chicago would have had the playoff spot simply because of Bedard.

Bedard is first in points and goals for rookies hes second in assists by one. This is insane when you factor in the fact he was off for like 6 weeks

This Connor kid is something to behold. An accurate bomb of a one timer, a lazer of a wrist shot, sensational no look passes and can toe drag and dangle with the best of them. He even has the skating, edge work and stick handling skill to make veteran defensemen break ankles. And now a 5 point night… as a rookie?… in today's NHL?
At just 18, Bedard is already a beast! Scary to think what he'll be like in his prime.

Bedard's season is being done with virtually no offensive talent on the team. Wow. The % of offense he creates for Chicago is far higher than when Crosby, Ovechkin, McDavid et al were rookies.
