As a Vegas fan I am glad to see Miro doing well. Would love to see how much ice time he is getting in Calgary vs Vegas, is that helping his production? Either way glad to see him doing well.

Everything you said about the Philadelphia power play is what us fans have been SCREAMING all season. If we had a consistently solid pp and quit turning it over, we could be right with Carolina and the Rangers. If this game alone knocks the Flyers down the power rankings, I would not be shocked.

I was at the game in Ottawa. The fans were definitely not happy with the no-goal.
A very slow start, but the end was a nail biter. I know I had butterflies.

I give Detroit credit for not giving up at any point last night; they had little luck (broken sticks on wide-open shots, striking the post a few times) but scored twice on their favorite set-play (gaining the zone, then hitting the trailer) and pounced on every tiny miscue Buffalo made.
Having said that, my team played outstanding last night at both ends, despite being burned twice on the same setup (hope they learn from that, but it keeps being an issue, like losing so many faceoffs.) The team was clicking, and watching Peterka score but NOT celebrate, just kept his game-face on and went back to work, was soul-satisfying.
LOVE THAT RANGERS 3RD JERSEY. THAT NAVY BLUE WITH THE HUGE CREST IS SWEET.
“Dallas isn’t one of the top teams in the league” that’s wild Shannon. Even the stars biggest critics will tell you they are one of the top teams in the league. You’re clearly hard on them.
The real test for Dallas and every team will come in the playoffs. 🤷🏻♂️ No easy wins in the NHL.. People need to understand that any given Power Ranking is an opinion of the individual or entity creating it. When you understand that, you understand there is no reason to get your feelings hurt by anybodies rankings. You can make your own ranking and your ranking won’t actually matter in terms of NHL standings and how any given team will perform moving forward or in the playoffs.. It’s a way for us to have discussion and express our opinion.

Watched FL Vs Dallas, Kraken Vs Knights. Away feed for FL. Dallas TV team was ready to take home the cup when Dallas was up 3-0. Right on que, they say Reinhart is shooting at 25%, he can't maintain that, and then the floater goes in. 3-1 they already started getting nervous. They knew what was coming. For the Kraken game, it was hard work vs talent. Kraken had to work for everything they got. Vegas just has talent and makes plays. Sucks they couldn't hold on. They just don't have talent on that team at the high end for the NHL. Its like a full team of 3rd line players working as hard as they can. Seattle wanted that game too, there were many broken stats after the OT goal for Vegas. Went from gaining 2 points on vegas for the 8th seed to dropping a point within minutes. Also once it went to overtime I said well SJ has been mathematically eliminated. No cup for San Jose after all.
I'm beginning to think the Flyers are done. They struggled against the Sharks again and they haven't been playing very well lately.

Felt like Canes were up against lightning from a couple years ago. Inability to maintain puck, no fortunate bounces, rebounds. Shutout on a ranger back to back isn’t inspiring. Gotta take it from these goons, they ain’t giving it up.
