@Avalanche du Colorado

That "hook" that lead to the 5 on 3 made me physically sick. If THAT was a penalty then this game had around 476 missed calls

  2. I started this game with so much help…. then the first goal happened and I was like oh fuck we're gonna collapse aren't we

  3. Bro the refs have got to start answering questions regarding these bogus calls. Accountability and transparency would make the league sooo much better!!

  4. miller was fine, manson took the penalty and answered zadorov with no hesitation, seems like normal hockey to me.

  5. Nucks DJ played All the Small Things and the Avs took that personally.

  6. Man, I know it's easy to blame bad luck and bad officiating but the nucks got outshot 17-3 in the third to a team who sucks on the road on a second game of a back to back. That is inexcusable. A team will NOT win a cup EVER getting out played like that in a 3rd period.

The refs in general need to be addressed by the league. I think it is way beyond just this one example. It continues to make any sense. Like Manson nailed him in the head (I won't say he was lucky Zadorov fell down. Stay on your feet man). I think the refs should at least have to explain why they didn't call that a misconduct. They have way too much influence to NEVER be held accountable .

  7. The refs had an absolute howler. They were the worst I've ever seen them all season. However, two things can be true at once, and the Canucks also lost their composure and sat back on a lead waiting for the game to end

  8. Manson slowed down and hit miller with what looks like mostly his shoulder/back. You can clearly see Manson had no intention to harm from the way he reacted. It was nowhere near as bad as it looked or as bad as that hit Rempe got suspended for. THAT was a head target. But I guess the refs made the Canucks blow a 3 goal lead even though the calls were almost even…

  9. this was a great demonstration of a team with massive playoff experience vs one without in the home stretch… Tocchet said it best, calling his team "soft"

  10. The bois need to play a full 60 minutes, that 5 on 3 in the 3rd definitely shifted momentum and they didnt respond unfortunately

  11. Just watched Toch talk about how poised and calm Soucy was, and then watch him panic and chip the puck over the boards with 10 seconds to go in the third.

  12. DeSmoth can never win or keep a lead. Canucks are not gonna make it far without Demko and they will target Demko in the playoffs.

  13. I couldn't believe the refs in this one. Not only was the "hooking" BS. There was a one minute segment where a linesman broke up a play by the Canucks. Then the REF interfered with the Canucks. Both plays were in the Avs zone and ended up with the Avs in possession!?!?! The refs still hate the Canucks. It is painfully obvious. Note to the refs Crawford doesn't work here any more.

  14. The biggest thing I’ve learned this season is that Canucks fans are surprisingly just as annoying as Leafs fans. Looking forward to the Canucks getting bounced in the first round.

  15. Miller has the responsibility of not putting him in a vulnerable position. He's a dumb ass. Manson definitely deserved a 5, but Miller can't just push his own head against the board and be like… don't touch me

  16. Have to play 60 min hockey. Cant play 3rd oeriod like Canucks did. With Demko out gitta play even smarter hockey and bring your A game.

  17. Man if we could have even won it in overtime, we would have forgotten about how we almost let it slip away

  18. Maybe we need to play them in the first round, cause we would have to get past them in order to continue playing for the cup

  19. Stick on the gloves is going to get a penalty, that’s called pretty consistently. Cole was banking on refs not calling it because they were on the PK, but it was a penalty.

  20. They played great in the first until the dying seconds of the second period .
Third period was crazy as the avalanche kept coming ..Lindhom missing the open net in the third ..grrr
Over time bad bounce ..But we did get a point ..

  21. Canuck fans whining about cheap shots is laughable. Ask Steve Moore. The NHL could require that the Canucks start out every game against the Avs down 0-1 and it still wouldn't be enough. Vancouver is a cheap shotting garbage franchise that hasn't won squat . . . and still believes that the refs are out to get them every time they lose .

  22. Canucks need to toughen up. Leading two goals against top teams and being soft on the pack for most of the game, leads to one thing and that is a loss. Lesson to be learned….coach calls a time out, gives a strict instructions to key players and get the team back into the game.

  23. Pettersson and Holdstrom will disappeared in the playoffs especially when the going get tough. It's the proving Swedish way!
