@Oilers d'Edmonton

1. I was at this game. Crowd exploded like it was a playoff goal, the “CONNOR BROWN” chants started for the rest of the night and the standing ovation lasted for 5 minutes after the goal. i love Oil Country

  2. They were cheering cause it was 7-2 NOT BECAUSE of Browns goal🤦🏼‍♂🤦🏼‍♂

  3. I was at the game, right behind the oilers bench, the cheering for Brown was 100x louder then it is on tv and even after the play started again the cheering was still so loud. Great game.

  4. People were saying big deal. I think the standing ovation was respect to a player that’s been working his ass off each game. It’s not about the goal it’s about his hard work.

  5. I am also impressed at the way the young lady in the beginning of the video did not spill a drop of her drink while enthusiastically cheering and performing high fives

  6. I rewound the game last night and watched this 3 times. I am a lifelong oilfan and this made me cry. I went and woke up my wife to tell her the news. Even today when i watched this youtube i cried.

    I am so damn happy for connor brown. So so happy. He has never complained. He kept working hard. He kept finding ways to make impact without scoring. He was the epitome of resilience. He earned every damn second of that standing O. Huge respect to the fans that were at the game and gave this guy his well deserved dues.

  7. I was there. It was really special, the place erupted and the standing ovation afterwards was a very neat moment. Even after that, people were chanting his name right to the end. Walking out of the building the fans were chanting his name too. Made me very proud to be an Oilers fan.

  8. it was just such a good game, like it was just objectively an awesome game, so to add brown's goal, just solidified the night for all of us

  9. Well 4 million dollars for 1 goal that is wery good in 55 games and for god sake dont forget that he have 5 assist also so I think it was a very good trade to bringing in connor brown and leting costin and bjugstad go insted 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢even a blind chicken can find some corn sometimes also llolll

  10. What’s even better is that Brown “Scored” earlier this year but Kane was called for goaltender interference and Brown’s goal was called back

  11. Also Mark Spector is a bum and was a dick to Brown in the post game interview saying that “scoring hasn’t been a big part of your game” when Brown has been a 20+ goal scorer in multiple seasons

  12. As a Leafs fan i have also been following him this year, was bummed when we let him go. To the Oilers fans, what is going on with him this year? Just bad luck? Is his injury lingering maybe?
