After such a tough season, it was nice to finally see the boys smiling on the bench throughout the game. Good change of pace.

We seemed to have it together in the stadium game, then we fell apart. We seemed to have it again for the Timo time hat trick game, then we fell apart again. I need this team to have back to back performances of this quality before I get my hopes up. Tonight was exciting for sure, but it needs to carry over to similar performances over the weekend.
There is life in us yet! Think I was more shocked by Dallas pulling their goalie on us than by the actual win. Happy for Timo Time always. And Dermy got a point?! 😆 Who knew? Happy for all our boys. Keep going. LGD!

It's better for the team to be playing meaningful games than playing out the string. And thanks to some serious mediocrity, the Devils are still mathematically alive. And it's never over till the math says it is in professional sports.
That being said, get 3 out of 4 points this weekend, making it a 5 out of 6 road trip. Then we'll see.
Nothing worse than the daylight getting longer, the weather nicer, and the Devils playing out the string.
Agree on the D for next season. It would be best for this team to be able to move 1 or both Marino and Siegs. But now with Siegs being concussed to finish the season, I can't see anyone trading for him.
I want to believe but lets be fair its only one in a row. While we should absolutely enjoy this, lets not get a head of ourselves and start talking about having "hope or Faith" till we see if they can string together a couple more wins. Lets hope they didn't blow their load in this one game for this road trip. Lets GO DEVILS!
We have to see at least one string of wins together this season. They're due for a baby wagon. Just 4 or 5 wins! And I hate to admit it but Siegenthaler & Marino out has made way for DeSimone & Hattaka. Both of these kids best be finishing out the season in NJ. Jake Allen stood on his head in the 2nd & 3rd.
