I think Mike Johnson was right on the broadcast, this is the show and you should be allowed to ice your best players whenever you want. But also it’s the show… and you need to accept the consequences when guys get mad. For me it’s the same thing as the Rielly hit after the empty netter. The unwritten rule is ‘don’t do that’. Nobody broke a rule by slapping a puck in an empty net or icing unit A up 6-1, but you better expect a retaliation for the pride of the team. If you don’t want the consequences, don’t break the unwritten rule.
I like you guys, but you need to stop bashing the "other" broadcast, because true leafs fans prefer the other broadcast! We are tired of anti-leafs sportsnets.

For everyone hating on butkiss and sammie. Find something else to watch, trust me they dont need you to watch. Both have secure jobs with sportsnet and have their opinion and give it, after each and every leaf game.
