Thanks Georgiev for giving the Avs this stat
As I said in the game thread:

Last night was hands down the most fun I’ve ever had at a hockey game. The amount of Canucks fans around me that were talking shit at the first who had to eat crow at the end of the game was amazing
While this is awesome to see it’s also scary. Go down by 3 in the playoffs and chances are you are not coming back
They also came back against the Panthers at home this season, didn’t end up winning that game but they flipped the same switch
Av’s: let’s prepare for a cup run, wouldn’t it be fun to let every first shot in and then play from behind to build grit?
So if any of y’all play Pokémon, you know the move Avalanche. Introduced in Gen IV, it doubles in power after the user has been hit with a move. So I suppose the Avs are taking that to heart…?
Odd little stat we’ve made this season, but kind of a fun one.
