Canucks do not have enough big bodies in the forward group to establish a sustained forecheck, cycle the puck consistently and west teams down. Avs bigger forwards maintained an effective forecheck, cycled the puck for prolonged periods of time and wore the Canucks down. Avs looked fresher than Canucks in the second half of the game, despite the fact they played the night before and the Canucks had 3 days off. Panthers and Knights made it to the finals last year because they have bigger forwards and excellent forechecking and puck cycling that wore out their opponents over time.
3rd period Nucks just backed off. No pressure on Avs
