Who cares, fold and relocate the Leafs to Salt Lake City, Utah.
Everyone knows Toronto is the WORST sports city in the WORLD because of how IMPOSSIBLE it is to build a WINNING team in Toronto. It's EAISER to win OUTSIDE of Toronto than it is to win INSIDE of Toronto. Any player, coach or GM that can win a CHAMPIONSHIP in Toronto is an INSTANT LEGEND and the GOAT because of how IMPOSSIBLE it is to do. If a player wants to prove themselves to be the GOAT then come play for Toronto and WIN a CHAMPIONSHIP with a Toronto based team.
If Conner McDavid is better than Auston Matthews than I dare McDavid to play for the Leafs and win them their first Stanley Cup since 1967. It's EASIER to win the Stanley Cup with the Oilers than it is to win the Stanley Cup with the Leafs. Anyone can play in Edmonton and win the Stanley Cup it's EASY. Winning the Stanley Cup in Edmonton is like playing NHL 24 on ROOKIE mode, whereas winning the Stanley Cup in Toronto is like playing NHL 24 on Max level.
McDavid winning the Stanley Cup with the Oilers doesn't count as anyone can play for the Oilers and win there it's that easy. If McDavid wants to be the GOAT then he HAS to play for the LEAFS and do the IMPOSSIBLE and win them their FIRST STANLEY CUP since 1967. If McDavid plays for the Leafs and wins the Stanley Cup for them he is better than Gretzky and is the GOAT because of how IMPOSSIBLE it is to win the Stanley Cup with the Leafs.
Stanley Cup win with the Leafs BETTER than Stanley Cup win with other teams in the NHL. It's EASY to win the Stanley Cup outside of Toronto than in Toronto. Anyone can play outside of Toronto and win the Stanley Cup, it's the most EASIEST thing anyone can do as it doesn't require any skill whatsoever. Winning the Stanley cup with the Leafs makes the player, coach or GM an INSTANT LEGEND and GOAT because a Stanley Cup win with the Leafs is more valuable and prestigious than a Stanley Cup win with the other teams in the NHL.

Woll can NOT be the playoff starter. He's hardly played any games and hasn't looked good since coming back.
It doesn't matter Samsonov isn't going to get you past the first round anyways

Despite his stats not showing a great save percentage Ilya Samsonov has been one of the best goalies in the league in 2024 so far. Not only is the net his to lose, a contract extension is a conversation soon to come to the front burner.
People outside buffalo don't realize how amazing ukka pekka lukkonen has been since buffalo stopped the 3 goalie rotation in December. He's been playing like a top 10 goalie in the league for months now and that may not be doing it justice as he's been tops in the league In shutouts, GAA and safe percentage since the new year.
There is quite a bit of time before the first game sheet is filled likely naming Sammy as the Leafs starter.😀 Leaf players & fans should enjoy the Leafs being right in their comfort zone.
Also, they should be prepared for playoff seasonal spring disappointments to continue.
