Honestly it's disappointing how rude Steve is being in regards to the Arizona situation. It's frustrating that it's to this point and they probably should get moved to another city. As a small market fan, it feels disrespectful towards how these teams have to manage their situations. Just leave the topic alone if you aren't going to take it serious anymore.
Oh so this is the reason why the Pens got Bunting! Cannot have an awful power play, if you don't get power plays!
I honestly do think play style do have something to do with how many penalties teams get, like most of the teams at the top of the list are all very fast teams and their playing style make it so that you almost have to take penalties to defend against, if that makes any sense.
The show gets better and better every episode!

A minor frustration for me is when you talk about Matthews you often fail to mention how offensive and open this era is. How attacking and offensive minded his team is, how many point per game players the leafs have and how many passers etc. When Ovie scored 65 it was in an era when people didnt score 50. Not to mention he made the Caps dangerous by himself. We look at near 40 year old Ovie as a standstill, one trick pony. But in his youth he would charge by 5 players, hooked, slashed and held, and still score. Every game was highlight reel watch. Even if Matthews get 70. Its no where near as impressive as Ovies 65. Matthews is great, but not like Ovie and Crosby. Those 2 would score 100 points in a very gritty era with very tough stay at home d-men. And they did it on very bad teams. Matthews could go to Arizona and I bet he would struggle to reach 40 goals and 70 points. Crosby and Ovie would flirt with 100+.

The Blackhawks got rid of Perry because of previous (Blackhawk) scandals. They felt they had too. It was an HR problem, not a criminal problem.
This isn't something other teams would have terminated a player for…. Which is why the union stepped in.

One of those guys isn’t going be playing on the left side. I’m pretty sure Dahlin already plays on his off hand. Buffalo has some nasty prospects but it’s going to be a bit of a problem having 5 left handed D. Can get away with it in the regular season but unless you have easily the most talented team and unreal chemistry (like Tampa or Colorado did) you win playoff games by winning you battles along the boards and having your D full of the same handedness could make that difficult.
