I watched that game and I gotta say, they aren’t playing desperate hockey. A very lack luster performance. I watched Pitt vs Rangers, and even though Pitt lost they took it to the Rangers in the 3rd. Devils just didn’t care about winning this game. Even if they made the playoffs, they would be embarrassed.
I feel like the devils organization got to comfortable after exceeding expectations last season in the playoffs. Fireable offense from the GM

This team continues to disappoint though, couldn't believe what a joke of a performance we got today. I can't even really be mad with Kaapo either, since he got massively screened on one goal and that horrible turnover by Nick on another.

Fitz has built a pathetic team of individuals and AHL players. If he thinks a goalie is all that’s needed then god help us. Jesper bratt needs to be moved on his cap hit to what he brings to the team is to high. Our bottom six is awful. A coach needs to come in with some balls and start limiting jacks time if all he is gonna do is give the puck away every chance he gets. Green should have never been given the job he’s single-handedly coached the worst power play in the league and now he’s coaching the whole team

I want defense this off season. Real defensive minded defensemen. I feel like we ran through so many goalies that could have been great. They got hurt standing on their head for this team, went into surgery, and were never the same.
Jack Hughes is a ghost out there, since his people pay to watch me play has been so unproductive and Bratt too. Both need to step it up big time next season

Every time the devils win a game you can win a fortune on betting against them no matter who they play next. Look when we are on the pk we sit back and let them do whatever they want the other teams knows to pressure us and Hughes and Hughes will turn it over
