  1. I'd say any team playing Vegas are in trouble in the playoffs. The GKs have so much playoff experience and they're so well coached, any team is going to have trouble with them. Edmonton is another team I wouldn't want to face because McDavid is finally getting going and any team with Connor on it is scary. He's the best player in the league when he wants to be. The problem is that I wouldn't sleep on Nashville either. They're always a tough team to play against going back to those years with Rinne. In any case, the 1st round isn't going to be easy. I wouldn't say any team is an easy out for the Canucks, even if they were playing like they were earlier in the year.

  2. Let em' talk, I'm not afraid of any team..Bring em'..We are having injury issues and no team has been this consistent this season! Always been top 5..Bring it!

  3. VGK just benched their 3rd D pairing in favor of Martinez and Hutton, who could be in the top 6 of almost any team. Magically, they looked a lot better. The depth is still there. Hertl hasn’t even played yet.

    Center depth:
    Eichel
    Hertl
    Karlsson
    Roy
    Plus:
Stephenson extra faceoff help, even if he is on the wing. Or, Hertl with Eichel so all 4 lines can win a majority of faceoffs, and Stephenson back again as the 2/3 center. The VGK that has been on display won’t be what you see in April.

Insert Mark Stone jokes/complaints as you wish.

  4. As a Vegas fan, I'm more concerned with the very real likelihood of having to play the Jets in the first round..

  5. As a Jets fan I don’t think Vancouver need to be worried about Vegas. Be cautious but not worried. Vancouver in 5.

  6. Taking their foot off the gas or is their league leading PDO finally coming back to earth? Adversity comes for everyone. How a team responds shows whether or not they’re a top team. Fans around the NHL have been waiting for this to happen to Vancouver for months and it looks like it’s finally happening.

  7. I always roll my eyes when people use the regular season as evidence for why the VGK won’t be a challenge. That team is built for playoff hockey. Going to conference finals 4/6 years and Stanley cup finals 2/6 years proves that

  8. Canucks will be knocked out of playoffs first round, Petterson will find a way to get hurt to avoid adult hockey
