On March 8th Allvin said 10 more days/2 weeks, but now it doesn’t look like he will be back within this timeline.
For reference, Soucy also had a broken knuckle in January and returned March 6th so he was out 6+ weeks

I’m sure if Canucks were fighting for a playoff position he would be in the line up sooner. This is a good thing that he will be 100% come playoffs.. and he should still get some regular season games in under his belt

Why did he go bowling?!

At least he can skate so his cardio should be OK when he gets back into the lineup.

I really wanted Joshua back soon so he could hopefully force Tocchet’s hand in redeploying Lindholm in the top six. The Swedish line was such a short lived experiment it would be good to allow it time to see it develop chemistry.
The WC spot will likely mean Vancouver plays Vegas in the first round if Van holds down the West. Facing Edmonton or LA in the first round wouldn’t be that bad of an alternative all things considered if putting Lindholm back into the top six takes more time and growing pains (Ls) to develop. The idea was to let Vegas and Edmonton fight it out in the first round but now Vegas looks like more of a WC team. Maybe not winning the West isn’t the worst outcome.
Just my two cents. Prepared to get shredded in 3,2,1…

Hope that fight was worth it

If we’re relying on a 3C to bring us above 0.500 during the stretch that said 3C is injured, we’ve got much bigger problems.

Good thing he broke his hand fighting after a clean hit during a nothing game!

Are hand injuries the new groin injuries? Seems like we traded one inept medical staff for another.
