Could be depression as well, to go from playing a game from like age 10-40 then stop you don’t know what to do with yourself sometimes especially when you have a purpose to workout and skate an practice , now it’s like what to do with myself and alot of guys fill the time with alot of drinking or bad memories of times remembering how they were the hero for those moments but now nothing. Nhl should get these guys alot more in programs after retirement to help with hobbies or keep them around the game
